They teach a lot of things that aren't used anymore in industry. For example instead of giving ASP.NET, they give plain ASP.

The level of education is very low at LYIT. The students there are idiots (seriously), so the teachers adapt their level of education to those idiots. For you, it will all be very simple, probably too simple.

Final comments
LYIT is crap, but the location is very nice. You don't have to study anything, so you can go fishing and swimming in the sea (IF the weather is good -- ahem)

Extra costs in housing was a great surprise. Every one of us living in the same house had to pay 50e each month for the heating etc. I didn't know to expect that great extra costs.
