The room was located in an area where only students live and also close to the university. Besides your room you have also an own bathroom, that means no share with other people. That was excellent. You live together with 7 other korridor mates and you share the kitchen with them. If not everybody prepares a meal, then there is enough space. The room look friendly with a big window-wall. I really felt home after a few weeks.

Night life is very activ in Linkoping, hard to stay at home :-), I have been travelling around Sweden and Scandinavia and this costs money

Always have in advance some alcohol at home, if you dont want to end up paying a lot in bars or clubs.

It is small but nice town with enough nightlife to keep you entertained, and if not, it is very well situated geographically to travel to Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Goteborg and Helsinki.

Try and sort out your residence premit before going to save time and hassle. Don't shop in the small supermarkets.
