The ESN is really good organised they will help you with most of your problems. Students life is very different to Germany and really great... lots of special parties and activities like kravall, SOF, ELINpiaden. Communication with the teacher and administration (international coordinator) is pretty good and you get a lot of help with everything.

If you are open to get along with new people you will have a great time and maybe make some life long friendships. Try to travel as much as you can the country is great, dont be to shocked about the prices you will get used to it!

I wish i had known before that most students live in the same part of the city, just off-campus, called Ryd. I would have tried to get a room or appartment there.

I would suggest that if you consider going to Linköping, you should do it for a year. Most people regretted that they only came for a semester.

In terms of travelling, Swedish trains are amazing. Other than this, often it can be cheaper to rent a car.

Good academic level, well organized, lots of local parties. However, more integration with local students needs to be organized

nice to travel up to the north, kiruna. Travel with friends and rent a car to go to other places, such as Norway and Denmark.

Very good university, teachers and other people almost always available for you. Very nice campus! Lots of things to do among students. I really recommend to come at this university.

Linköping is very well located to travel everywhere in Sweden aand also Denmark, Finland, even Russia... If you are under 26, you have discounts in train and buses...but still it remains expensive! Linköping is nice but small...plan to travel with friends...Sweden is a so nice country!

It's a really good university, it shouldn't change much. All the people (exchange student coordinators, teachers, etc.) it's very kind and polite. I really loved it.

I loved to stay here, and I'm sure every student should have a kind of experience like this, being an international student. This city offers you lot of fun and you can have lot of more friends, forever!! Tips: it's difficult to get in touch with the local students, try to know some Swedish "traditions" before. Anyway, it's very possible that you'll find people from your home country, too. The social security is not free! So please, don't get ill. BRING A LOT OF MONEY You can travel a lot, it's not expensive and it's really fun!

I enjoyed a coffee at steve's cafe. And the icecream of bosses glacebar is amazingly good. The night life is okay. You can do several things during the night. Tuesdays there is the International pub at Herrgar'n, for example. Wednesday you can have great burgers at Flamman while listening to Jazzmusic. And at weekends you can go to towncenter, there you will propably find something for you. One disadvantage are the prices of alcohol and that the bars close at 3 o'klock. Sometimes there are some special events organized by students for student: SOF, ELINpiaden, etc. And the also the monthly programme for the Exchange students is quite good. If you want to you can have lots of funny activities
