I belive I spent same amount of money when I was living in Turkey, except grocery shopping.

Why?

It was an appartment in an International Student House, which got me to meet many new people. Also, the location was perfect, next to the station and only 5 mins away from the university and the town centre.

The town did have a very active social scene, although, coming frm London, it was naturally quite a bit quieter than what I had bee used to.

Because I had more time to go out and more possibilities to travel. For the food the prices are higher in scandinavia.

The two grants I get from the state and from Erasmus were enough to pay the housing fees for the all year. The student parties are quite cheap.

my experience in the language could not be better, I had the opportunity to speak English every day in the conduct of social life and in the university. Lund is one of the best cities to learn English, because even the oldest person as the youngest know English
