Housing for internationals is organized by the international housing office. Once you applied there you are assigned a room. So you are spared the hassle of finding something on your own. Internationals mostly live in one of the several big student housing complexes on student corridors, either with one or two other internationals on a "swedish" corridor or on a purely international corridor. The corridor rooms are all singles so you don't have to share it with anybody else. Most rooms have a bathroom and free internet access. Additionally there's a big kitchen on each corridor.

Life in Sweden is in general slightly more expensive; apart from that, I participated in more activities (nightlife, traveling, etc) than I would at home. That makes life more expensive.

Don't drink in normal pubs! Apart from that, traveling in Sweden is quite cheap, especially flying. Get a standby-ticket, 300SEK single anywhere.

Is quite cheap to eat in the "Nations" and the food is good. If you want to save money buy in Netto (supermarket). The alcohol is really expensive and you can only buy it in a Special shop from the goverment called "System Bolaguet"

A great university with an international network

Overall
I graduated MACA from Lund University in June 2019. Lund University encourages student to teach and learn themselves while directing them with a target-minded approach within programs. Regardless to say, it is an international university, you can hear different languages in campuses. Regardless to say, this characteristic of the university is very important to network locally and internationally for students' prospective business lives. I am so honored to be an alumni of LU.

Events are mainly hold by international students which is a bummer because we don't have so much opportunities to interact with native students. They are closed in that sense. I definitely wouldn't recommend cafes here because they are low quality. If you must, try espresso house; expensive but totally worth it.

The most cost-saving tip i can give is try to talk to students that were there the semester before, because there is a huge chance that they have second hand stuff that are really useful. Also, go to Tiger. Really the best student/cheap store ever!
