Because overall life in Russia is cheaper then in the US, the only category I spent less in the US is clothing, because in Russia clothing is more expensive.

I was surprised that I could buy plane tickets much cheaper via internet. I used travelocity.com servise and got round trip ticket to Florida from NYC for just 175$. Also I bought very cheap luggage also via internet.

Beause it was a good experience to live with other students, good chance to get to know the people of different countries and cultures. I liked it a lot.

The accomodation was just fine, nice rooms,great view from the window (I could see Hudson River from my window and Tappan Zee bridge); I lived in double room. The only little inconvenievce regarded to bathroom, which we had to share with our two neighbours.

actually it's almost nothing to do in the Tarrytown, but it takes only 35 minutes by train to get to the Grand Central Metro North Terminal in the NYC, so the most entertainings and night life were taken place in the NYC.
