Middle Eastern Technical University (METU)

METU is one of the best universities in Turkey and I am proud of being a student at METU. I am always feeling the difference of my university in both Turkey and in Poland during my Erasmus. The campus of METU is very huge and we live as if in our own village. As I mentioned, while we are in METU campus, we feel like we are not in Turkey or Ankara because we feel the freedom of anything in our campus. Teachers are well chosen but students in these years are not really willing to study and improve themselves. The service in my school also is not perfect but enough.

METU is one of the best universities of the country, which has the prominent professors in related fields and has the most beautiful campus culture. It is an alive campus with lots of activities all around. It is so clean and big that you would enjoy every square of the campus along with its high-quality educational atmosphere.

Actually, in this university, I met a lot of people with various backgrounds, not only from Turkey but from all around the world. I think my campus life really influenced my personality from a positive perspective. In addition to the education quality in spite of around 25k students, I felt free and refreshed every year that I spent here. In terms of psychology education, I can say that we mostly focused on writing research proposals, and data analyses as most of the research universities do. Thus, I learned a lot about R, SPSS, and the literature of psychology in almost every subfield.

It is a demanding school in many aspects. Instructors expect high quality work from students and you definitely see the pay off when you attend to a Master program in another country (for my case Luxembourg)

Courses are really difficult but for sure with the professors you can scale up to another level. Campus is HUGE where everything is offered gym, pool etc. Overall I am more than satisfied to have studied in METU, the best university in the country.

Best of my years past at the university.  I spent 6 years there. Besides academic attributions, social attributions were important. ıt is the best university in turkey and has high standards as high tutors and students.
