THe halls of residence seem to be in a terrible state and quite expensive (after checking them out). This makes them a pertty poor value for a mature budget student like me. Furthermore, the location is remote from central locations and appear to become a struggle when commuting to other parts of town.

If you are thinking about studying abroad, whether at Monash or anywhere, GO. It will be the best thing you have ever done for yourself, and you will be amazed at the opportunites that arise from it. In the end it does not matter if the bathrooms weren't always clean, or it took you forever to get somewhere because you got lost, or if you finished a paper the morning it was due. It will be the friends you made, the things you did and days you couldnt stop smiling. It is not the easiest thing I have ever done, it is hard to so far away from my family and friends.Then once I left it was hard to be away from all the people and things I had in Australia, but it was the best decision I ever made. It has changed myself and life completely and all for the better.

It is such a great thing to live in the city even it took 40 minutes to uni. Enjoy the life. And expore everything. Think more and more about ur life.

Go on every party, every trip that is arranged and enjoy your life!
