because you learn how to organize your life with all the nills you have to pay and all the things you have to do if you have your own house. Moreover if you live in a house you can savour the real life with other native people.

I spent a week in the dorms and it was hell! My room was small, hot and everyone was 17/18 years old...not my cup ot tea.

It is dirty, it is far away from Melbourne city, 1 hour by public transport. The rooms are very dirty and the walls very thin.........
