I wish I had known...

That no night life exists close to the University.

In my opinion:

I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.

The University performs well in the general aspects. People are nice and the university staff are helpful and competent. I would recommend you to go!

Travel, travel, travel. Beware that in order to book cheap holidays over the internet, you need an American address on your credit card, otherwise you will have to pay more!

NY area is a very expensive area. Watch out the all visa system, very complex
