I had in mind that, though lectures and works would be in English, I wouldn't learn much. I was wrong, since I improved in some ways, regarding vocabulary for instance but mostly in my general understanding of English.

At the beginning it was a litlle bit strange to change my language in social and academic aspects but it was quite easy to get used to it after some days being there. It made the experience even more magic.

People both in the Netherlands and Norway speak relatively good English. Therefore I had no problem expressing myself in any situation.

Norwegian is rather easy to learn for German speakers and people are so happy when they see that you try to speak their language

Norwegians speak a nearly perfect English, maybe because TV is in original English (subtitled)or they are just really good

People in Norway have impressive language skills. Everybody speak perfect english and some of them speak german or french.
