I studied Law and there was zero work experience included or any mentorship on getting a job. My class graduated into the recession and it was a difficult number of years. I remember in first year having a female lecturer that would pick on students in the lecture theatre and make fun of them if they didnt know the answer, there was an element of fear. Overall I didnt feel NUIG prepared me for working life but it was a mixture of the course lacking in any practical experience, my bad choice of course and the recession.

The courses available are broad which is helpful when ones not sure what to choose. The lecturers are all very friendly and the facilities on campus are excellent.
