Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment
Personal social experience
Personal comments
The school is far away from the Central, and not very convenient for student that have no cars. But inside the University there are many activities organized by school and student organization. Sport facilities are adequate, computer room and game rooms are available. I don't have much night life, only sometime travel with some friend during spring break to Vegas and Arizona, during weekend, sometimes travel to El Paso (Texas) and went to shopping malls. The disco in Mexico was really different from that in Texas and Las Cruses, don't miss it.

Academic
Course recommendations
Lots of course choices, including academic, music, sports, practical and theoretical. I like the course and teachers very much. The financial course i like most because they are very practical, and use sepecial computer software and internet to look for information and prepare equity research reports. Teachers are nice and helpful. Students are nice too!

Languages
Language of instruction: Finnish
Was learning Finnish a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Finnish
How much did you improve your Finnish?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.)
My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang)
Language difficulties
Administrative / Institutional
Personal comments
Needing to deal with the english language daily, both in social and academic life, I picked up the language relatively fast. At the moment I am still attending courses in the Englisg language in my home country, which helps me stay on top of it every day.

Personal comments
The on campus housing was of good quality, however, price wise it was better to look around yourself and find something off campus.
