Due to the fact that I had lived in the US as an exchange students before and that tha language of instruction in Germany also is english, I had no problems at all. The professors are also always willing to help you and ask you to ask directly when there are vocabulary problems

It was pretty basic. I had to share a room with another girl - which I wasn't expecting, but it turned out well. also had to share a kitchen with the whole building! Thank goodness for cafeterias! Also the communal shower rooms was something to be desired!
