United States, Undergraduate Law, Criminal / Criminology, 2015
Overall
Graduating From Northwestern State University as an older adult was such an insightful experience. Granted my fellow students were decades younger than I was at the time, we learned much from not only our Instructors, but form each other.
My studies began many years back in the field of Criminal Justice, for my passion was Law Enforcement. While in college, I was accepted and hired with a larger city police department, where my career took off.
Later, in 2012 I began my studies at Northwestern State University in the same field and graduated with both a AS and BS in Criminal Justice.
I believe education is a foundation to a vast majority of things in life. Whether the student desires to be a Nurse, or a phlebotomist, to a Veterinarian, to Agriculture.
Each area of study will, in many ways compliment that individuals life in not only the field of choice, but in life in general.
Dedication, perseverance, and consistency are vital in life, especially in college. Northwestern State University allowed me to complete my education in an expeditious manner, but having the opportunity to fulfilling my own personal goal.
