It was pretty good. I was living with 7 other people in a student village, but I had my own room and living with some other people would helped me make friends with a lot of people. There were a lot of parties on weekends there so I never got bored.

Why?
i'm satisfied, and the location is preet conviniet, very close to both of the campus and the downtown. i have other international students as neighbours, it is very helpful and a lot of fun.

English is a language largely spoken by everybody in Norway, so no language barrier appeared during my stay there. Norwegian is a particularly difficult language to learn, in my opinion, and the host university didn't put to much interest in assuring Norwegian courses for its foreign students.

It is a great university, where the students try to involve everybody in form of clubs organizations parties. The teachers are easy to approach.

Final comments
For cheap shopping, go on a cruise to Denmark or drive over to Sweden. Also Sæfflebussen is a cheap way to visit Goteborg or Stockholm. Bring a private insurance since the normal insurance doesn't cover everything

most norwegian people speak preet good English, so it is not real big hurdle if i do not understand it. besides, at campus, almost everyone understand english, and the local students are very kind and friendly to help me to cope with the language difficulties, if there is one.
