Final comments

even though japan is an expensive country, it is affordable thanks to scholarships. also otaru might seem like a boring small town to many, but it is amazing how much fun you can have there,being one of the few foreigners in a non-crowded and gorgeous area of japan

Living on campus is a very cheap way to accommodate yourself. Join clubs - great way to learn language and meet locals
