while u live on campus .... u can have all the facilities at the most affordable rates...u save money and energy while going to the university as it is situated nearby....its safe and secure to stay oncampus....and as many people stay there...u don´t get bored..

handy is very expensive, but hometelephone is the same I would say,
night life pretty much the same, depends on how often and which clubs u go :),

I am a Mechanical Engineer mastering in Process Safety and Environmental Engineering at Otto Von Guericke University Magdeburg, Magdeburg is in the eastern Germany and Its cool and calm, residents are more reserved.
My Msc Course PSEE is carved out of faculty of Process and System Engineering so it is more of Chemical Engineering and little of safety and environment
Students do more studying and it helps in self development and It develop students to be grounded in your field of study
