I did not have any trouble with the language of instruction, as I have worked and studied in English before. But some people in the class did not speak much English, and that was a problem sometimes, as we had quite a lot a group assignments and discussions. So if your English is good, be prepared to correct everyone else's papers, and allow for misunderstandings during seminars. It can be irritating at times, but if you keep your sense of humour, it can be interesting.

lack of communication with local students- a bit dissapointing- I am sure that I did not loose my French accent at all! I have just mixed it with German/Greek/Spannish/Chinese accents because of seaking a lot to International students but not local

At the begining, learning and speaking a lenguage it is difficult, after two-three months everything becomes easier and easier.

There wasn't so much a language barrier as there was a culture barrier. Interesting lesson to learn... =)

Being an American the language wasn't a problem obviously, but my English did actually improve thanks to the British dialet.
