Valoración globalWhile the teachers had the knowledge, not all of them were helpful. Some teachers were impossible to get a hold of via email and this made studying incredibly difficult at times. Additionally, some teachers were not engaging in classes making subjects more difficult to understand. That said, many teachers do try their best and the majority are approachable and welcoming.

Everything in London is more expensive. EVERYTHING. But it's worth it...there's just so much to experience that it's a shame to let budget constraints wear you down. But travelling was actually quite cheap, with Go Fly and Easyjet making it cheaper to fly to all parts of Europe for much, much less than it would be to fly from Chicago to New York, for example.

The dollar to pound ratio is killer. Save money by buying at Sainsbury's or Tesco, not the little shops. But markets are great for cheap stuff, like bedding. Especially on the east end, where everything is a bit cheaper.

I started university during the pandemic, and I’m surprised by how well Queen Mary has been managing the online learning experience.
The school of politics has an extremely capable team of lecturers and seminar tutors. Most of the online lecturers are well planed and with interesting contents. The seminar tutors are very thoughtful and attentive.

London as a city as so much to offer, and I was determined to see and experience as much as possible during my stay there. I saw several musicals (I recommend Mama Mia) and plays, and visited museums and other cultural sights (the Tate Modern is worth a visit, as well as the Shakespeare Globe). In terms of night spots, the surrounding pubs around campus became the favourite places to hang out after school.
