“International University with an increasing amount of English courses”
Philipp W
Germany,
Management Information Systems, 2023
Overall
When I first applied to this university I did it because academics that I look up to actually recommended TUD for its excellent teaching staff and their thorough contribution to recent topics of research especially in the engineering and IT domain. From my personal experience I can tell that the word of mouth is accuratly describing the quality of teaching and research. Different faculties are of heterogeneous structure and I made my experiences mostly in the faculty of economics and the faculty of informatics. In that respect I'd like to emphasize that our teaching staff was always very approachable and encouraging towards each individual student. The creative and open-minded atmosphere was transmitted to student lifestyle and vice versa. The campus of TUD is sufficiently large for the amount of students (ca. 30,000). There are plenty of canteens and cafés on the campus and the library is well-equipped.

“Satisfying study program”
Valeriia F
Germany, Undergraduate
Philology, 2020
Overall
I was looking for a study program that could give me insight into various study fields. TU Dresden allowed me to peak into culture, linguistics, literature, history of art and musicology in one study field which was more than I could have hoped for. Nothing for people that like to take a deeper look into their field but very fitting for students like me that are looking for a study programme that provides many different seminars and lectures every semester to choose from. In TU Dresden one can definitely choose their program according to one's interests.

“An excellent university with only a few organizational problems”
Hendrik B
Germany, Other courses
Engineering, 2023
Overall
In general the TU Dresden is a very nice university. Nice in concerns of design of the campus, offers of cafeterias and sport facilities but also nice in concerns of possibilities of courses you can attend. With far over 30.000 students TU Dresden is big enough to offer a broad range of lectures so that everybody can find topics that one finds interesting.
