In January and February is very cold, be carefull with that. Try to travel at least to NY, DC, Philadelphia and Boston, they are very near. Talk with the professors ofLally school, the people is very friendly and they are waiting for people of other countries

Academicly excellent university, the social life at campus is affected by the largely techical student population. In other words, don't expect a party university.

Buy a car and travel around to see a lot of what the u.s. has to offer. Cities like Boston, NY, Dc, San Francisco, LA etc. are definitely worth visiting. Try to integrate with local students to optimize your experience.

I could not have much time to spend in nightlife, traveling, and social life because of too much class works. But I had all the fun from the class activities. I appreciate all the good classes and professors. I have learned a lot in RPI.
