It is a great experience to live in housing with international students of various nationalities, as you inevitably learn a lot about different cultures, become more tolrant as a person and most importantly, make some amazing friends for life.

There is an accommodation shortage in this city cause there are so many students in groningen. Please, send the application form to the Housing Office as soon as you can.

The housing office does not care much about what kind of apartments they find it seems. My landlord at 21 A-Straat treated us like idiots, almost never returned our phone calls, and ripped us off on the deposit.

I think it's too expensive relative to what they offer. The student house it's not very clean and it's a little bit far from the university.

Housing was arranged wery smoothly. No problems at all. Of course quality of the accomodation could have been better beacause I wasn't really living in a real house. "Containers", as we called them. But people and atmosphere were great!
