Privately arranged apartments are a lot cheaper than the ones arranged through the host university - but very hard to get.

I would recommend not to get a shared room as there hasn't been anyone I know of who didn't have problems with his/her room mate.

Sorry i cannot remember names. But in Sweden is very tipycal go to university pubs where you meet international students as well as swedish people

Swedes love to speak English so there is hardly any opportunity to practice Swedish. On the other hand, there where never communication problems.
