Media studies & digital communication

Italy,
Public Relations / Publicity / Advertising, 2022
Overall
I am currently finishing a master's degree in Digital Media and
Communication but I also have two years of experience in a university
secretary's office where I was in charge of archiving important documents as
well as direct contact with students. I would love to be part of a company
because I am passionate about the business communication sector. I have
always been linked to the technology sector working on digital innovation
projects and I am always looking for ways to further develop my technological
knowledge by taking courses and reading about the latest trends.

I always wanted to learn Italian. Its quite an easy language to learn compared to others. Italy is the perfect place to learn the local language -because you have to! The Italians really only speak Italian, and not English... The only opportunity to have a good social life is to learn the language asap

The prices in Italy is far lower than in Denmark. Of course I was often given a higher prize because of being a foreigner which really pissed me off. Overall I spent more money in Italy, because there's so many things to see and do...

Hanging out with students of my program proved a big minus in learning the language to the degree that I wanted to. It's difficult not to grow closer to the other american students on the program as time goes by, but I wouldn't advise it simply because it takes away from the overall experience.

the food in Italy is just fabulous first of all..living in the capital city is always going to be more expensive. Rome is such a big place, you have to take buses and trains all the time to arrive at your destination.
