Courses of great quality, but no sure if it's worth the effort.

Overall
I have recently started studying here and the courses are great. The subjects are really interesting and the professors are explaining everything very well. The atmosphere is really nice, the students are usually open and friendly. Still, there is a HUGE drawback of studying at Sapienza. I have seriously never saw a more deficient organization, especially if you have the "luck" to be an international student. You get almost no answers to emails, like, you can consider yourself blessed if you get a vague answer. You can go and ask your questions on campus, but there's another kind of chaos. If you go to the Foreign Students Office, they'll say they're busy, even though they NEVER respond to emails and it takes months to get enrollment emails, and they'll send you to the HELLO students office. The HELLO students office are trying to be as helpful as they can, as they're working students, but most of the times they have to ask the main office, so you're stuck in a circle. As I have already mentioned, it takes a very long time to get your validation email, over a month, so the slowness of the services is another flaw of this university. So, do I recommend applying here? I don't know. I'm sure you can get the qualities of this university in other places as well, without having to deal with the desastrous organization. To be honest, if I knew how bad the organization is, I wouldn't have applied here, I would have rather stayed in my home country. I would give up studying here now, but I have already invested too much money in moving to Rome for my studies, so I have to go on.

Personal recommendation
It's a big chaos and teachers don't really care if you go to classes or not, you have to do almost everything yourself. Introduct yourself, discuss about the exams proceedings etc.etc..

Final comments
Rome has a lot to offer take advantadge of it all. Travel by train or rent a car with your friends, but go check out the rest of Italy. Sicily is beautiful and very cheap! Get yourself in the erasmus association also, they throw a lot of parties and to excursions to some places in Italy. These trips are also a lot of fun, and you get to see everything too.
