There are so many that it is difficult to choose only some of them.But I would say as clubs Gabana,Fortuny, Moma, Pacha(thursday is the best night for it). Cafes...I would say all of those near Calle Serano or Velasquez.

SOL IS A GREAT AREA TO GO OUT. THE AREA AROUND THE UNIVERSITY IS GOOD AS WELL, I MOSTLY STAY IN THE AREA OF THE UNIVERSITY. CHECK OUT THE CUBAN BAR AROUND THE CORNER.

Several bars and cafe allowing one to be social with the local culture as well as with others outside of Spain. Very multinational environment.
