I spent more in food because I live with my parents, but the price is similar. Housing is more expensive abroad. Overall life abroad is more expensive mainly because theres a lot of expenses you don´t realize until you live on your own. Mostly what I noticed more expensive was restaurants and some products to purchase

I spent less for food because pizzas are cheaper than beef, and i did't spend much for travelling b/c planes were very cheap.

Yes. It's better if you have your own medical insurance, because the university's insurance costs about twice, and covers the same.
