The main night spots are around Stureplan to go clubbing, however, there are very nice places in Söder where there are less clubs but more bars to have a drink and talk with friends.

Communication has never been a problem for me during my exchange program. I am bilingual in Swedish and Spanish so I have had no problems in understanding Swedish. Even though I speak with an accent from Stockholm since childhood, now that I have been here for almost 9 months, Swedes find it very difficult to notice that I am not the regular Swedish. English is the main language spoken among exchange students as well as the language of instruction, and having spoken it for over a year now every day and in all situations I feel very comfortable speaking the language.

Don't visit Uppsala. Try to come in summer - Sweden is so much nicer then. Be a citizen of the European Union, it makes things easier and cheaper.

Cooking at home is the best way of cost-saving since restrants in Stockholm in the evening are quite expensive.
