While you are studying in Spain... there are endless options every night of the week. O'Connells, Casa de Cerveza, Honky Tonk are some of my favorites. Bring alot of money.. especially if you are going to the Malaga trip. Be ready to have a blast.. and if you are in Malaga at the end of August go to La Ferria... HAVE A BLAST!!!

well if you go to suffolk, you definitely want to hit up cats, a local bar in the moncloa area. also larios is a nice upper class jazz bar, but if you wanna hear the blues, definitely go to populart, that's near sol. also dont miss out on going to the theatre and seeing movies. it's a great way to become immersed in the language.

All of the area of Sol is wonderful! I enjoyed the entire atmosphere of the downtown Madrid community. It was really fun to go to Flamenco shows, irish bars, nightclubs, jazz clubs, the plaza mayor and all the museums....I could go on forever!! All I know is that I had such a great time and want to be back there RIGHT NOW.

Space is an awesome club with hot people! Casa de Cerveza has happy hour with all you can drink cerveza/sangria for 1,000 pts. between 11 and 1AM, and there are tons of people from the U.S. Definitely check out a soccer game and bullfight. Visit el Palacio Real and pay extra for the guided tour!!! It's worth it.

The area near Puerta Del Sol and Plaza Mayor had great nightlife. It was fun to eat dinner outside in the middle of Plaza Mayor at night. There are also great restuarants around that area, as well as nightclubs. However, the nightclubs that I went to that I thought were great were dispersed throughout the city.

My favorite night spots were the bars called O'Connels and the other one called O'Neils. Great pints of beer at a great price. I loved the night club Kapital. The restaurants are pretty cool. Don't miss out on the little tapas bars. Cafe y TE is a great cafe to hang out, smoke, study, or just meet other people.
