Cozy campus and friendly teachers
Thomas C
Poland, Undergraduate

Overall
Swinburne University is found slightly outside of the heart of Melbourne with direct access by train. It's a small campus compared to other universities but still produces some of the best courses, skilled students and interesting teachers.

"G'day mate"... what?!? Yep, Australian slang and pronunciation is not what I was used to study at school, but Australians are so friendly that you'll love them anyway, and you'll talk like them as well... :-)

Its a good university as far as the Bachelors course is considered. But with Masters it was like the uni did not differentiate students who had limited knowledge to students who had really good knowledge

terrible experience, course structure is out dated at best. i completed my 3 year degree and 2 year diploma without 1 single book! what can you learn from general information off the teachers head, nothings accurate and by the book. Swinburne does not meet industry standards by a long shot! teachers don't care to reply to student emails, until its too late and it doesn't matter anymore. after my studies no one at my work was happy with my progress, allot of work got sent back for me to redo! nothing i learned from Swinburne is within the industry norms, but thankfully i have a very tolerable and patient boos who was willing to give me a chance to unlearn all the mistakes i was taught by Swinburne!
