Tampere University of Technology (TUT)

The night life in Hervanta, the place where the University of Technology is located is mainly made in the accomodations of foreign students (where are allegedly more exchange students students in Tampere when anywhere else in Finland). It is also the location of the notorious bar "Atlantis". In the city centre very popular clubs and bars are Onnella (mainstream music), Sokeri (Black music) and Doris (Rock), as well as Cafe Europe and O'Connell's. From Tampere you can of course travel to Helsinki and Turku, but if you look for cosy towns you should travel to Lappeenranta and Oulu. Also you shouldn't miss Stockholm, Estonia (and the other little Estonian towns), Riga and of course Russia (St. Petersburg).

There were a couple of nights but I'm not co fond of this kind of activities, I liked more hanging out with people and chatting, or dining all together

Thousends of sport activeties and a gang of tutors organizing trips and activities all week long. I could not ask for more.

well I liked all night to ride my cicle because it was very quiet and I had many friends that they went with me

Night spots: Cafe Europa-all the international students go there Sports- sky and ice skating Places-observatory tower

Beebop was the student bar for international students! The cheapest beer (50c) in town and big student atmosphere.
