I recommend to look for a department close to university, do not stay at residencias!! I recommend you TACOS FELIKS - quite expensive but delicious-I miss them sooo much:) Additionally I recommed you to stay with mexicans-you'll learn more about the culture and learn faster spanish:) For travelling I recommend you Chiapas, Oaxaca, Michoacan and amazind MExico City - don't listen it's too dengerous!

Before starting in the Tec I went to Mazatlán to take intensive Spanish classes for a period of 4 weeks. Half a year before that (winter 01/02) I went for 3 weeks to Málaga in Andalucía, Spain to take Spanish classes as well. I guess it pays a lot more to just go to the country itself and learn the language there instead of taking year-long (and mostly very expensive) language courses in your home country... I will do the same again pretty soon in France. Now that I know how easy it can be to learn a foreign language I want to get back to my very basic high-school French...

Es una buena escuela que se enfoca al bienestar de los alumnos, sobre todo se preocupa mucho por ellos psicológicamente, promoviendo que si algún estudiante esta pasando por algun momento dificil lo podía compartir con algún amigo o con el psicólogo de la escuela.

The teachers are very professional, they are always willing to help you get a better understanding of the topics. During the 4 years of my career I had the opportunity to meet wonderful and creative people. The courses are very fulfilling, and my experience abroad with the agreement of the University in Italy was nothing but spectacular. Will very much recommend Tec de Monterrey.
