Food in mexico is quite cheap, not to mention delicious aswell. If I were studyng at home I would be living at my home, therefore not paying any rent. I also found rent at the residences a little overpriced (especially for Monterrey), however, a lot of services were included.

After about 3 weeks to amonth start eating street food as well. It's incredibly chape and very tasty. also, look out for Michuacan stalls/cafes. They serve a large selection of freah fruit juces and great sladas for chape as well.

The family that I stayed with was great. I now speak spanish fluentley , know all about meican foods and traditions, and can say that I now have a mexican mother and brother.

Tec offers both a family and residence option. The residences at the Guadalajara campus, are on campus, and thus very far from where many of the other students live (Providencia), the clubs and from the ceter of town.

It ıs a great unıversıty to go to. It ıs very prestıgous and the students are very wealthy. The academıcs are generally not too dıffıcult, but requıre a lot of work.

A lot of people speak Englısh so ıt ıs not too overwhelmıng ıf you are a begınner Spanısh speaker, but ıf you want to speak Spanısh all the tıme, you must ınsıst upon ıt.
