If you do notmind living in the outskirts of the city, then university accomodation is perfect. However, if you wish to live more towards the centre, you should search private accomodation, which in general is more expensive.

rent is cheap compared with the standard of living (+20% more than in Belgium)
Some friends of mine lived quite far away from the center (30 min by bike!)... that could be a problem so take care of it

for exchange students a perfect solution, because you live with a lot of Danes and one or more other exchagne stundets in one house, but with all other exchange students in the same area..the danes call it "Kollegium"

I lived in a dorm with 9 other people, most of them from Spain. It was a good chance to get to know other exchange students there but the dorm was really far away from the university and the centre.

Why?
It is much better to live with lots of other students from denmark and all over the world than to live with two or three people. On campus there are parties almost everyday and you meet a lot of people!
