Use the opportunity to find out more about the Scandinavian life style and culture. Use a bike to go around and enjoy the snow.

Any possibilities of work. Students are allowed to work in Denmark but I didn't know about it.

There is plenty of sightseeing and fun waiting out there, however not very much with danes, they are rather closed society. Good point is that they are all very nice and helpfull people. Watch out for the prices ! You cand spend plenty of money for nothing and save a lot if you will choose a cheaper shop. Finally it is impossible to find accomodation on your own , better ask university to do it for you.

Personal comments
You can return bottles for money, however supermarket bags do cost, so bring your own from home. If you plan to move around a lot, might be interesting buying montly tickets for public transport, depending on the transport zones you need. Be careful of second-hand bikes, some require an higher price on repairing than you paid for them. Police auctions might be a better solution.

Housing
Type of housing: International Students Apartment/Residence
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Same Place
Why?
You get to befriend a lot of people from all over Europe living in that residence.

Personal comments
Accomodation may vary depending on what the university has available. You may get to live in residences, wich are nice if you want to know people, especially those with a lot of international students. You may get to live with families wich may be a different experience. Most housing is not near the university or Copenhagen center, so you will probably need to use public transport or get a bike.
