It is worth to buy a railway discount card which costs 100 guilders, but if you want to travel you will save huge amounts of money (gives you 40% of reduction)

http://www.poubelle.nl/ - the best second-hand shop in the world for furniture, electronics, games and whatever... Go shopping in Jumbo, ALDI or in AH (but mainly Euroshopper brand and stuff on Bonus).
