I must admit that one can learn a lot in 5 months, even if one just listens to the teacher during the lessons. You learn most when you need to cope with daily situations.

Accommodation are quite expensive, especially if you want to live in a furnished room. Here, student residences are common, the advantages are the metro and bus access and the fact that you get to know a lot of people, but they are situated a bit outside the center.
