yanchenhao
China, Undergraduate
, 2023
Overall
Zhu Ling, an extraordinary talented girl in chemistry, music and sports and at the same time beautiful, kind and outgoing, was been diagnosed as thallium poisoning at 1995. Her roommate Sun Wei is the only person who know Zhu ling and has experiments experience related to thallium. What’s more, sun wei is an ugly girl and usually envy the person who surpass her in some way according to her friends and ex boyfriend. Tsinghua university help to cover the thief who stolen the bread, toothbrush, towel, watercup of Zhuling in her dorm which all are crucial evidences for conviction of Sun wei. Sun wei comes from very wealthy and powerful family in China. Tsing Hua university not only lie for there is no possibility for chem students to do experiments related to thallium which let zhuling miss her best time for cure, but also force zhuling to drop the school make her unable to apply for student subsidy for poisoning treatments.

Chinese is completely different languages. It doen't have any common features with any european language. That's why it was really hard to communicate there mostly in every aspect of everyday life. Chinese people in general don't know English and are able to speak only their native language. It was a problem, however I can say that it was a great experience to learn Chinese and try to communicate in it.
