New Orleans is the city where party never stops. So, in order to do well academically, you must be organized, and time conscious type of guy.
In terms of wheather, it is perfect throughout fall, winter and spring. It gets really hot during the summer though. And one more thing, make sure the apartment you rent is at least 2 feet above the ground. Otherwise due to occasioanl heavy rains your apartment may end up being a movie studio for shooting the episodes of Titanic II.

My short time at Tulane University has been absolutely incredible. The faculty is top-notch, the curriculum is broad but full of depth, and the school is in the amazing city of New Orleans. On top of all of that, Tulane gives you access to an incredible alumni network who are there to help you each step of the way. I can't imagine a better place to go to school.

Try to take most advantage of such a rewarding overall experience. Time is never enough for everything that becomes available with such an experience.

Try to meet all the people living in the city, not only the students on campus: you will learn a lot more about the New Orleans' culture
