Spanish is very easy to learn for italians so I did'nt have any kind of problems to speak it very well just 2-3 months in Barcelona

Courses were held in catalan without explanations in Spanisch for the foreigners. You have to speak proper spanish before the stay.

I liked it! I think catalan is a nice language, and I like to see how people fight to preserve it as part of their culture.

I had no problemas with Catalan as all my courses at the Faculty of Translation were given in Spanish.
