very easy language integration off-campus. people are very helpful and correct you. a bit tougher on-campus because lessons dont really give them the time to care about your language difficulties

there is an excellent interaction beween Erasmus students. Nevetheless It is admitted that a lot of Basque students are somewhat unconsciously defiant towards the foreign invaders we are !

The family I lived with was amazing! They were helpfull, accomodating, clean, nice, they included me as part of the family, yet gave me the space and independece of a university student.

I would go for the same option again just with different people and with more space. I arrived quite late in Bilbao and there was a good choice of accomodation to choose from

The apartment I took was the best of the ones I had looked at, however it was very small for the price I was paying. As well as that there was no central heating thus it was freezing during the winter months
