Best place to study in Spain
Antonio J
Espagne, Master
Traduction / Interprétation, 2018
Évaluation globale
Exceptional environment for university students, with 3 wide campuses stretching throughout a historic but dynamic town that sees its population double for the academic year.

Also, renowned teachers in charge of a great amount of research projects, as it's one of the highest-ranking universities in Spain not only in study possibilities, but also in research fields.

As food, telephone and accomodation is considerably cheaper in Spain than in Norway. However, Granada's nightlife was not to be missed so I ended up going out a lot more than I was used to do in Norway. The fact that I was in a new country with lots to see, I was also encouraged to travel around in Spain.

It was very easy to live in Granada without spending a lot of money!! Housing, food and nightlife was cheap, I used the internet for free in my University. The top nightlife cost-saving tip was the free beers!! Coupons for free beer were given to passers-by to the central sports of the city, as a public relations activity!!

Logement
Type de logement: Appartement/maison

Si j'y retournais je choisirais: Appartement/maison
Pourquoi?
I shared a flat with Spaniards and experienced a lot of their culture by living with them. It was also excellent for my Spanish, since I had to speak Spanish all the time.

Commentaire personnel
Universidad de Granada did offer some kind of housing in student dorms, but it was very expensive and also majority of people just searched for a room/apartment by themselves. Finding place on my own was also much cheaper and I could find very nice location.

If you fancy funky and house music do not miss a night out in Afrodisia!Super cool! For some more pop and hip hop go to Camborio, facing the Alahambra...the view is awesome and so romantic! On Sundays chill out in the teterias in the Albaycin, wide range of teas and food from Marocco. Best tapas in Bar Castaneda in Calle Elvira, so tasty and so cheap!! Very good beer at the taberna Iralendesa..an Irish touch in Espana...
