Everyone knows that Spaniards party like nobody else. You can always find something to do on Friday or Saturday night. The locals all seem to crowd Churruca, which is a street full of bars near the city center. Also, the cultural center usually has some kind of play, concert or exhibit weekly. You should definitely get involved with this part of the Spanish culture. You can pick up a schedule of events at any Caixa Nova bank.

The list of possible appartments to choose from was provided by the university, but we had to searxh independently for our appartments. It was a bit uncomfortable as we had to pay for staying at a hotel after our arrival untill we found the right appartment to stay in but on the other hand it was a experience helping to us to learn how to manage things on our own.

Be open to new cultures, dont be afraid to try out new things like different foods etc. If you go as an erasmus student or something simular live with the natives you will learn way more as regards your language and the culture.

Advice: don't forget your umbrella!
