La Roca was the main place when I was over there, most were very different to what I was accustomed to, but never the less very good indeed. Travel was amazing, but be careful! Mexico does have the potential to jump and bite you in the bum!

Final comments
If you want to see the Yucutan peninsula, be aware that you will be VERY far away. Never fear, there is pleny else to see (i.e. the beaches of Oaxaca).

I can'te remember the names of places so much; I was just interested in interacting with the natives asn I really didn't care where I went to do so. I went to a lot of home parties and get togethers.

Learnt a lot. There are many variations from Mexican Spanish and Castillian Spanish that should be aware of before you go, as I found out when asking a hotel porter where I could have sex with a bus!

One of my main objectives for going to UDLA was to learn Spanish. I learnt a huge amount while I was there. However as most students speak English and like to practice with you and they are the people you most interact with I did not learn as much as I would have liked.
