OverallAl ser una carrera nueva en dicha universidad éramos pocos alumnos los que la cursábamos por lo que seguimiento de cada uno era casi individual (los profesores conocían a cada alumno por nombre y apellido).
Las materias estaban más enfocadas al area físico de la carrera, pero también se veía materias en relación al area psicológica.

Well, housing and all that comes with it is certainly more expensive in the states than in Argentina. However, there was much more of a culture of having a good time while I was down there, so I did end up going out more.

I think the way to do it was do as the locals do. They eat very cheaply all week. All meals are eaten at home. Then on the weekend, why that's the time to appreciate what you've saved up all week for.

Es una universidad privada con una historia en la formación de médicos en la Argentina, que fomenta la formación desde el inicio de la carrera, en un ambiente donde si bien hay competencia tambien hay camaraderia entre los alumnos. Las prácticas en el momento de mi formación fueron a nivel local, pero no se como funciona en la actualidad. Muchos compañeros míos de estudios revalidaron el título y pudieron insertarse en países europeos y en USA sin mayores inconvenientes.

Es una Universidad donde finalizas la carrera habiendo aplicado la teoría realmente en la práctica, es decir, comparándola con otras Universidad tienes la oportunidad en los últimos dos años de carrera hacer prácticas en diferentes establecimiento.

Es una Universidad que te enseña no sólo la parte clínica de la carrera sino que también hay otras áreas donde podemos destacarnos y trabajar.

I went to Argentina straight from Venezuela, where my father's family lives. I feel that this allowed for me to really become acquainted with Spanish and its everyday usage. I was definitely a good communicator when I got there. And after spending time there and coming to understand the very distinctive slang of B.A., I feel that I was definitely fluent.

It has to be considered that when I went there the country was still 1=1 with the Dollar. That was when Bs As was as expensive as New York. everything costed more than at home. After the economic meltdown and evaluation in November 2001 the country became more cheap that my country of study (netherlands).

Leave your money on the bank of your home country. You will easily be able to access it from almost any bank. But during the time I stayed in Argentina it did not seem a good choice to put your money on an Argentinean bank.
