This part of Spain is particular since the local language - galician is different from the language of instruction - spanish (if you're lucky :o). But it is great, since there aren't many people that speak english and maybe a few speak some french, but that's it!

As it was my home country, I believe it was great, and I also believe the use of the second host language, Galician, should get even more importance.

After a few months I spoke pretty well spanish, and began to understand gallego as well.
