Make sure you sort something out in advance or that you arrive a couple weeks beforehand in order to look for something nice. If you can't do this I would go with university accomodation but make sure you don't stay at Kramer.

The dorm I lived in didn't look very nice and the corridors were cold in the winter, but I enjoyed living there since my friends lived there as well. There was a cafe downstairs and we used to have dinners there together, which was great.
