“a mind-opener program in a beautiful city”

If I mention about my stay in Bari as a student, and my department in particular, I'd say it is one of the most mind-opener Master programs in Europe considering its extent since it includes many courses related to Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Moreover, we've been having many guest professors from other countries as well as helding many interesting courses in a very flexible and relaxed environment. However, if I talk about student services and university facilities, I won't be able to say that they are good enough. I assume that this is related to the general bureaucratic slowness in entire Italy. Yet in overall, I can definitely say that I'm mostly satisfied with my experience as a student in Bari.

“A hard but rewarding experience”

During the years of study I had the opportunity to meet wonderful colleagues and to attend courses with attentive and almost always clear professors in the explanations. The study programs were quite long and hard, but during the lessons the teachers provided important explanations and suggestions in the subjects. All this in a dynamic city like Bari, known for its history and its beautiful waterfront.

I am studying Master's in marketing and to be honest, I expected less professionalism as most of my friends recommended me to study in the north of the country. but on the contrary, the University of Bari shoes a high level of education and very professional faculty members.

Chaos total, aber immer hilfsbereit und nett. Die Chefin des Erasmusbüros ist super!!! Wirkliches Problem für mich war, das ich meinen Koordinator nicht finden konnte. Bis ich Ende des zweiten Semesters rausgefunden habe, dass er nicht in Bari ist in diesem Jahr! Bessere Organisation wäre hilfreich! Es kommt sicherlich auch auf das Studienfach an.

Nicht zu viele Sorgen machen, alles ist ein Chaos am Anfang und nicht einfach, aber es löst sich alles mit der Zeit! Man übe sich in Geduld!!! Um Leute kennenzulernen am Anfang sollte man einfach rausgehen. Kontakte lassen sich im Erasmusbüro, und dann auf den Erasmuspartys knüpfen. Sportliche Aktivitäten ausserhalb der Uni sind empfehlenswert um Leute kennenzulernen. Umbedingt sollte man sich Apulien anschauen. Städte: Ostuni,Polignano,Trani,Alberobello,Lecce,Otranto,Gallipoli!! Im Sommer auf den Gargano und in den Salento!! Die schönsten Strände gibt es zwischen Vieste und Peschici, sowie in der Nähe von Otranto: Baia dei Turchi und Torre d'Orso!! Natürlich sollte man auch das Castell del Monte angucken.Es gibt Direktflüge mit Tuifly von Köln,Stuttgard,München nach Bari!!! Weitere Tipps gebe ich euch sehr gerne, wenn ihr mich anschreibt!!
