At Bergamo the foreign students seems to collect together and people from the same country tend to stay together and not speak much Italian which is difficult to escape from. Before arriving my Italian was poor but after a year it had greatly improved and was good. A student arriving with better Italian would have more success as they could find a part-time job at the beginning and make a circle of Italian friends-I wish I'd been able to do this!

The day we starded we got to know that they had changed the all the classes and moved it fotward 6weeks without any notes. When I lookt 3 days before there were no noteses about it.
Well on the spot did no one know why the classes were forwarded. Indead did they send you around to differen proffesers and tuters that did not know any English.
Total nightmare! Hell must be governd by Italien!
The appartment that the university help us to get were nothing like the perscription. The landlord activly lied about the place and nothing like the sove or hot water worked...I usely don't right on this forum but if you dicide to go there then do it on your own. No lne will help you when you are there
